
The characteristics of signal transmission varies from frequencies
- Low frequency
- The length of transmission line is very much shorter than wave length
- Energy loss is small
- Voltage and current is irrelevant to the measure point
- High frequency
- The length of transmission line is comparable of wave length
- The loss on transmission line is big
- The envelope voltage depends on where the measure point is
- Only when the load impedance match the transmission line impedance, the reflection is smallest and the power transmission is largest.
